Happy Spring Friday, St. Isidore Market Family!

The first week of Spring CSA’s from Cooper Farmers just took place at our last market! The greens are wonderful!! If you missed out on purchasing the spring share, don’t forget that you can still sign up for both Summer and Fall CSA’s as well. These weekly packages can include Slicing Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Cucumbers, Sweet Corn, New Potatoes, Green Beans, Jalapenos, Poblanos, Strawberries, and more depending on the season you purchase. Boxes options are Small summer share (1-2 people): 5-7 items , Medium summer share (3-4 people): 7-9 items, or Large summer share (5-6 people): 10-12 items.

If you received a Spring CSA Share, Cooper Farms would be very appreciative if you could BRING BACK YOUR BOX from the week before! Just drop off wherever you picked up the share!! Thank you!!

For the first time at St. Isidore Market, we will now be offering Raw Milk in both half gallon and full gallon sizes from Good Time Market in Slanesville, WV. The difference from this milk and your ordinary milk from the grocery store is that it’s 100% unpasteurized; each cow is completely grass fed, and the milk is classified as A2, which typically means the milk is easier to digest. Order a couple containers for your family today!

Can’t wait until later in summer for Twin Ridge Orchard’s apples? No worries! We now have apples coming in from Cooper Farms, who sources them from Smith’s Orchard in Capon, WV. Each apple flavor can be purchase by the pound. Flavors include Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, York, Stayman, Rome, Macintosh, Crispin, and Fuji. If you have particular type of apple on your mind, we likely have it here!!

Are you always searching for the best deals of meat at the grocery stores since prices seem to have no ceiling? Check out Crestview Meat Market’s deal of Jumbo and Large Meat Packages as they can be your one-stop-shop for meat for a couple weeks! Both packages include portions of Ground Beef, New York Strips, Loose Sausage, and Boneless Porkchops. 

Also, don’t forget about Crestview’s Whole/Half Cow and Whole/Half Pig options if you’re looking to fill your coolers up even more with some deliciously tender meat to start grilling! Please reach out via email if you are interested.
