This book examines the southern preachers and the northern preachers and their teachings. They both used the same Bible but preached on opposite sides of the slavery issue. We also take a look at Civil War leaders and describe their spirituality. Many will be surprised, for instance, to find that Abraham Lincoln was not Christian.
