Novel which debunks the long-time notion that Abner Doubleday invented baseball. In spite of the Baseball Hall of Fame being opened in Cooperstown, NY on the 100th anniversary of Doubleday’s alleged invention, Doubleday himself never claimed to have invented baseball. A commission fourteen years after his death made the determination way too late for Doubleday to refute the claims.
