Honey Sale!

January 12th, 2024

Happy Friday, St. Isidore Family!

It was good to be back at the Market last night with you all – many familiar faces and some new ones! We’re excited to be indoors for our Winter Market and are committed to bringing you quality and affordable groceries from local farms during the cold months.

I noticed this week that Honey sales were up and I suspect why: 1) people drink more tea during the winter and often use honey as a sweetener. 2) Consuming local honey this time of year through the spring can reduce spring seasonal allergies. This is because the same pollens that give your respiratory system trouble are the ones bees include in the making of the honey. There’s no better natural remedy for spring allergies than this! I’m not a medical professional and I can’t guarantee your allergies will disappear, all I know is from my own positive experiences and that of other’s who all used local honey for this purpose. As you Place Your Order this week, pick up a jar of honey and begin naturally prepping your body for spring allergies.

  • Honey Sale! We have three sizes of Honey for you this week with 3 lbs. being on sale. The honey is from hives on the Eastern Panhandle of WV and the beekeepers are veterans – so support those who have served our country by picking up a jar this week!
  • Promotion! Each order of $40 or more placed now through Sunday this week will be entered into a drawing for a $25.00 Joan + Joe Coffee Gift Card! Did you know that we also sell three kinds of J+J’s whole bean organic Coffee? Avoid hibernation this winter with the best coffee around!
  • Country Creamery is changing flavors of its delicious Drinkable Yogurts for the season: Grab Peach while it’s here and welcome Strawberry into the rotation!
  • Blue Mountain Farm plans to join us on Thursdays for our Market through the winter. They recently launched their own Website and Facebook Page. Go like & follow them!

Enjoy shopping our nearly 180 farm fresh foods and local products! Please reach out if you need help placing an order. We look forward to seeing you in the St. James library on Thursday, January 18!
