The lard in this balm has been infused with local organic Calendula and scented with organic lavender essential oil, both known for their healing properties. Use this balm on cuts, scrapes, hands, face, baby bottoms or anywhere you’d like soft nourished skin! Handcrafted in small batches. Use sparingly, a little goes a long way!

The Antonines were an order of monks who were followers of St. Anthony of Egypt . They used lard and medicinal herbs to anoint the sick afflicted by a skin disease called St. Anthony’s Fire.
