The lard in this balm has been infused with local organic Calendula, which is known for its healing properties. Use this balm on cuts, scrapes, hands, face, baby bottoms or anywhere you’d like soft nourished skin! Handcrafted in small batches. Use sparingly, a little goes a long way!
Ingredients: Calendula-infused pastured lard, local beeswax, lavender essential oil, rosemary extract.
The Antonines were an order of monks who were followers of St. Anthony of Egypt . They used lard and medicinal herbs to anoint the sick afflicted by a skin disease called St. Anthony’s Fire.
