Calendula has long been known for its healing properties. Our lard is infused with organic calendula to bring those benefits to you. Use this balm on cuts, scrapes, hands, face, baby bottoms or anywhere you’d like soft nourished skin! Handcrafted in small batches. Use sparingly, a little goes a long way!
Ingredients: Calendula-infused pastured lard, local beeswax, lime and clove essential oils, rosemary extract.
The Antonines were an order of monks who were followers of St. Anthony of Egypt . They used lard and medicinal herbs to anoint the sick afflicted by a skin disease called St. Anthony’s Fire.
