Happy Friday, St. Isidore Market Family!
April means longer days and seasonal produce will begin coming in shortly! Speaking of seasonal produce, let’s talk about ramps. Ramps taste like a cross between a leek and garlic and are an edible vegetable native to West Virginia. What do you get when you combine local ramps with our favorite local bakery: Ramp & Cheddar Sourdough and a very excited Market Manager! There are other exciting additions to the Market this week – read on! Don’t miss this week: Grab Your Cart and Place Your Local & Affordable Grocery Order!
- Seasonal Sourdough. Katie from Bolivar Bread Bakery has baked local ramps into her classic Wild & Wonderful Sourdough and added sharp cheddar cheese – YUM! Ramp season is short – so buy your Ramp & Cheddar Sourdough loaves this week when you can! Katie attests that it makes fabulous grilled cheese! Not your flavor? There’s half a dozen other Sourdough flavors to choose from! Shop Bolivar Bread Bakery.
- Clevelando’s Returns! Yet another reason for rejoicing is that Clevelando’s is back this week with Meatballs, Marinara, Fettuccini, Pesto, & NY Coffee Crumb Cake! All homemade and all delicious! Shop Clevelando’s.
- Fermented Favorites. Maricel with BkSdM is back with her delicious Kimchi, Pickled Eggs, Salted Duck Eggs, and Fresh Eggs! Get the food that’s good for your gut! Shop BkSdM.
- Local Jam. The latest flavor of local jam from Martinsburg-based Farmhouse Kitchen is Blueberry! We’ve got six flavors of jam available now with more on the way! Stay tuned! Shop Farmhouse Kitchen Jams.
